Founded in 1963 by a group of Wickford families, the Wickford Yacht Club, through its sailing school the Wickford Sailing Association (WSA), has taught hundreds of local children and adults the joy and love of sailing for well over 50 years. The lessons of being on the water, learning new skills, and working together as a member of a sailing community continue well past the end of a glorious summer — they last a lifetime!
The Wickford Sailing Association thrives and is driven by numerous considerations, all of which are equally important. These include: the generosity of financial support, involvement from parents/volunteers, safe and reliable equipment, and exceptional coaching. Supporting these multiple factors will enable the WSA to move successfully towards our sixth decade of continuous instruction. We remain focused on our mission to provide affordable community access to sailing, with excitement and optimism for what the future holds.

Each year WSA holds a various fundraisers and silent auction to help defray our expenses.
Support our Endless Toolbox Fund. Your donation will help us keep the fleet in ship-shape…no matter how “enthusiastic” our junior sailors become!
